On July 6, 2007, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister He Yafei met with a delegation of Canadian Fund for International Understanding through Culture, which is visiting China at the invitation of Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Both sides exchanged views on China-Canada ties and cultural cooperation between the two countries.
