Wen Jiabao Meets with Brzezinski

On October 30, 2007, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met in Ziguangge, Zhongnanhai with Zbigniew Brzezinski, who served as national security advisor to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter in the 1970s. The two sides exchanged views on Sino-U.S. relations and international issues.

Dai Bingguo, Chinese vice Foreign Minister and Xiong Guangkai, head of the China Institute for International Strategic Studies (CIISS) attended the meeting. Brzezinski is here for academic exchanges at the invitation of CIISS.
