Main functions:The Department of Finance prepares budget and final account for the Ministry and manages the collection and hand-over of administrative charges. It develops financial regulations for China's overseas diplomatic missions, participates in the development of national diplomatic and foreign-related financial regulations, and audits and guides the financial operation of the Ministry and its directly affiliated agencies and overseas diplomatic missions. It also manages MFA's government procurement affairs.
