A: Recently, a so-called parliamentary election was held in Nagorno-Karabakh of Azerbaijan. The Chinese Government respects the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. It does not recognize Naka as a sovereign state, nor the legitimacy of its "parliamentary election".


China supports the relevant resolutions of the UN Security Council on the conflicts in Nagorno-Karabakh of Azerbaijan. China is willing to make unremitting efforts, together with the international community, for a peaceful settlement of the conflicts in Nagorna-Karabakh.
