At the invitation of Premier Zhu Rongji of the State Council, Prime Minister Mikhail Mikhailovich Kasyanov of the Russian Federation will pay an official visit to China from August 21 to 23. Premier Zhu will hold the 7th Regular Meeting with his visiting Russian counterpart. Before that, State Councilor Wu Yi, Chinese Chair of the Committee of the Prime Ministers'Regular Meeting will meet with the Russian Chair, Vice Prime Minister Khristenko to hold the Committee's 6th meeting in Shanghai so as to make preparations for the upcoming Regular Meeting between the two Prime Ministers.
