Having learned that the southern region of China was stricken by heavy snow, sleet, ice rain and unusual cold, some foreign embassies in China made donations and expressed condolence to the disaster-hit regions through the Chinese foreign ministry. The Sudanese government donated 200,000 yuan and the 5 diplomats of the Tajikistani Embassy to China donated 5,000 yuan to the disaster-hit region in support of the Chinese government and people in the disaster relief endeavor. They also extended the amicable sentiments held by the diplomats of the two countries towards the Chinese people.
