On the afternoon of November 5, 2007, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao arrived in Moscow from the Belarusian capital of Minsk by special plane to begin an official visit to Russia.

Wen has already paid official visits to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Belarus and attended the sixth Meeting of Prime Ministers of the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tashkent.

This is the final leg of Wen's four-nation visit. He is expected to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and hold the 12th regular prime ministers' meeting with his Russian counterpart Viktor Zubkov. Wen will also attend the closing ceremony of the "Year of China" in Russia.
