On November 8, 2007, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks in Beijing with his Slovenian counterpart Dimitrij Rupel, who is here for a visit as entourage of Slovenian Prime Minister Janez Jansa. Both sides spoke highly of the development of bilateral ties, expressing willingness to take the opportunity of the 15th anniversary of diplomatic ties to further bilateral ties. The two sides also had an in-depth exchange of views on China-EU ties, as well as on international and regional issues of common concern.
