On July 21, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying met with the visiting delegation of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) headed by Secretary for Justice Wong Yan-lung.

Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying introduced the ministry's foreign affairs work related to Hong Kong. She said the ministry will continue to support Hong Kong SAR in expanding foreign exchanges and provide good service for the development of the SAR. Secretary for Justice Wong Yan-lung said the SAR Government is willing to further strengthen communication and cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The two sides exchanged views on specific foreign affairs issues related to Hong Kong.
