Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing Meets with President of Lions Clubs International Clement Kusiak

On June 15, 2005, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met with visiting President of Lions Clubs International Clement Kusiak.

Foreign Minister Li positively affirmed the contributions of Lions Clubs International to international charity, appreciating the cooperation between the organization and China and highly appraising the organization's "Sight First, China Action" project which is aimed to help restore the sight of cataract sufferers in China.

Kusiak thanked China for its long-term support for the Lions Clubs International in various ways, saying the Lions Clubs International attaches great importance to the role of China Lions Club and hopes to enhance exchanges and cooperation with various departments in China so as to jointly promote the development of the cause of international charity.
