On August 24, 2009, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Wang Guangya met with Noeleen Heyzer, visiting Executive Secretary of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). Both sides exchanged views on China's cooperation with ESCAP and other issues.
