Mr. Chairman, The Chinese delegation takes note of DG's latest report on the implementation of safeguards agreement in Syria. The report indicates that the Agency is still investigating relevant issues and progress is yet to be made in solving relevant outstanding issues. Meanwhile, the report also points out that Syria has expressed its readiness to continue cooperation with the Agency in solving all outstanding technical issues and to allow the Agency access to relevant facility. China is in favour of appropriate solution to the outstanding issues through consultation and cooperation between Syria and the Agency. Meanwhile, China believes that politicisation and complication of this issue should be avoided. We support the Agency to continue its investigation under the mandate of safeguards agreement. We appreciate Syria's positive expression of its willingness to continue cooperation with the Agency and encourage Syria to take positive steps to this end. In this regard, we also hope other countries concerned lend necessary assistance to the Agency in resolving the outstanding issues as soon as possible. Thank you, Mr. Chairman
