Nuclear terrorism is a severe challenge faced by the international community. China always firmly opposes terrorism of any forms, including nuclear terrorism, and upholds the purpose and objective of the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism. As one of the initial partners of the Initiative, China has taken part in all its meetings and activities, and has taken effective measures to realize the objectives of the Initiative. Last December, China and U.S. held a workshop on radiation emergency response in Beijing under the framework of the Initiative.
