China in principle supports all endeavors aimed at strengthening the international non-proliferation regime. We hope that the international community can seek a practical scheme acceptable to all through thorough consultations. Such a scheme should not only promote the goal of preventing the proliferation of nuclear weapons, but also be helpful for all countries, especially the developing countries to exercise their rights to peaceful uses of nuclear energy.
