China stands for safeguarding the international nuclear non-proliferation regime. China maintains that the Iranian nuclear issue should be resolved peacefully through diplomatic negotiations, and any new turmoil in the Middle East be avoided. It is in the common interests of the international community to peacefully resolve the Iranian nuclear issue through diplomatic negotiations and to maintain peace and stability in the Middle East. China hopes that Iran could implement relevant Security Council resolutions and adopt a more cooperative and constructive apporach, so that talks could restart at an early date. At the same time, China hopes that the parties concerned could keep patience and restraints, stick to the right direction of peaceful solution, and seek a comprehensive, enduring and proper solution to the Iranian nuclear issue. China is willing, together with the international community, to actively participate in the diplomatic efforts for the restart of negotiations and play a constructive role in promoting a peaceful solution to the Iranian nuclear issue through diplomatic negotiations.
