China fully understands and supports the request for security assurances by the non-nuclear-weapon states. China has undertaken unconditionally not to use or threaten to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear-weapon states or nuclear-weapon-free zones. China urges all nuclear-weapon states to make the same commitment and conclude a legally-binding international instrument so as to enhance the security of all non-nuclear-weapon states.
