China supports the UN to play an important role in addressing the issue of missiles, and has participated in all the previous UN Government Panel of Experts on missiles with a constructive attitude. The issue of missiles is complicated and sensitive. China holds that the problems of all aspects of missiles should be properly addressed by diplomatic and political means in a comprehensive, balanced, non-discriminatory and step-by-step approach in the framework of the UN on the premise of ensuring no diminution of any State's security, fully reflecting all parties' positions and concerns, and comprehensive considering global strategic stability and regional security circumstances.
