On January 22, 2007, Vice Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met in the foreign ministry with the delegation headed by President of Chile's Chamber of Deputies Antonio Leal Labrin who was paying an official visit to China. Both sides made positive comments on China-Chile relations and exchanged opinions on the international and regional issues of common concern. They agreed to continue to make joint efforts to push forward the all-round partnership between the two countries. The Chilean side reiterated adherence to the one-China policy.
