On February 12, 2007, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with Director General for Asia-Pacific Affairs of the Mexican Foreign Ministry Julian Ventura, who, on behalf of the Mexican government, is here in China to attend the activities marking the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Mexico. Both sides exchanged in-depth views on bilateral ties and major international issues of common concern.
