On the afternoon of August 26, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing held talks with visiting Minister Petrus Compton for External Affairs, International Trade and Civil Aviation of Saint Lucia at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse and both sides exchanged views on the bilateral friendly cooperation and international and regional issues of common interest.

Following the talks, the two foreign ministers signed the agreement on the economic and technological cooperation and other documents.
