On June 1, 2011, Assistant Foreign Minister Zhang Kunsheng met with Suriname's former Foreign Minister and first ambassador to the People's Republic of China (PRC) Herrenberg, who is here in China to attend the celebrations on the 35th anniversary of the establishment of China-Suriname diplomatic ties. Both sides exchanged views on the development of China-Suriname relations and other issues.
