Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying Meets with Bulgarian Prime Minister's Foreign Affairs Adviser Cholakov

On May 19, 2011, Vice Foreign Minister Fu Ying met with Bulgarian Prime Minister's foreign affairs adviser Cholakov. Cholakov said that participating in the second China-Europe High-Level Political Parties Forum at the invitation of the International Department of the Central Committee of the CPC enabled all the delegates to more comprehensively understand China's development and changes. He spoke highly of the friendly relations between Bulgaria and China and stressed that the Bulgarian government takes China as its most important partner in Asia and expects to learn from China's development experience and deepen the bilateral pragmatic cooperation in all fields in order to benefit people of both countries. Fu introduced China's domestic development and exchanged views with the guest on issues of common concern. He expressed hope that China makes joint efforts with Bulgaria to strengthen cooperation on infrastructure, new energy, trade and agriculture and achieves new breakthroughs in the bilateral relations on the basis of consolidating the traditional friendship.
