In 2010, relations between the People's Republic of China and the Principality of Andorra developed steadily.
In April, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Institutional Relations of Andorra sent a letter to Chinese Embassy in Spain, expressing sympathies over the losses caused by the earthquake in Yushu, Qinghai. In July, Chinese Ambassador to Andorra Zhu Bangzao presented the letter of credence to Christian Frémont, Co-Prince of Andorra at the presidential palace of France. In September, Premier Wen Jiabao sent a message of congratulations on Andorra's National Day to Prime Minister Jaume Bartumeu Cassany.
The Andorran government continued to firmly abide by the one China policy. The two countries maintained good cooperation on international affairs.
