On February 20, 2009, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met in the Foreign Ministry with visiting Minister of State in the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office Lord Malloch-Brown. Both sides exchanged views on the impact of the global financial crisis on Africa, Africa’s peacekeeping capacity building, China-UK cooperation in Africa, as well as African hot issues of common concern.
