On May 30, 2008, Leading Member of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Qiao Zonghuai met with Joao Gomes Cravinho, visiting Portuguese Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation. Both sides exchanged views on China-Portugal relations and next year's celebration activities marking the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
