Li Keqiang Meets with His Hungarian Counterpart Navracsics

2012/05/01

On April 30, 2012, visiting Chinese Vice Premier Li Keqiang met with his Hungarian counterpart Tibor Navracsics in Budapest.

Li said that China and Hungary have built a friendly and cooperative partnership and their bilateral cooperation has developed to a new level. China attaches great importance to the development of its relations with Hungary, Li said. China is willing to make joint efforts with Hungary to enhance political mutual trust, to boost their pragmatic cooperation in economy and trade, as well as their cultural and tourism exchanges, he said. Both sides should exchange experiences in governing the country and accelerate the building of relevant cooperation facilities and mechanisms. Efforts should also be made to promote sub-national and city-to-city cooperation through the development of sister cities in order to promote healthy Chinese-Hungarian relations, Li said.

Navracsics extended warm welcome for Li's visit. He said Hungary was looking forward to summarizing the achievements of the development of Hungary-China relations and jointly discussing how to promote the ties through this visit to inject new impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
