On April 11, 2011, Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks with visiting Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Taieb Fassi Fihri.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral friendly cooperative relations in recent years, agreeing to further strengthen friendly exchanges, deepen pragmatic cooperation in all areas and uplift the level of cooperative ties.

Both sides also exchanged in-depth views on the situation in West Asia and North Africa and other international and regional issues of common concern.
