Answer: China's stance on the Middle East is consistent. We advocate resolving the dispute through dialogue and talks. China opposes and condemns the assassination of Yassin by Israel. We do not think that Israel's 'target assassination' will help resolve the problem, and hope that all sides could exercise restraint and refrain from taking any action that may lead to further escalation of the tension.
