Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai Meets with Joint Press Delegation from Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Kenya

On April 4, 2006, Assistant Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai met with the joint press delegation from Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Kenya. Cui made highly positive comments on China-Arab and China-Africa traditional friendships, as well as fruitful achievements of bilateral cooperation in all areas since the establishment of the China-Arab and China-Africa Cooperation Forums. It is hoped that the journalists will play a positive role in giving people of their respective countries a better understanding of China and pushing for in-depth development of bilateral relations, as well as China-Arab and China-Africa friendly cooperative relations. Cui also took questions from the journalists on China-Arab and China-Africa relations, the Middle East situation, China-Japan relations and the Taiwan question. The joint press delegation from Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Kenya came to China for news covering at the invitation of Department of Information of Foreign Ministry of China. Besides Beijing, this delegation will also visit Sichuan and Shanghai.
