On July 10, 2007, Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met with visiting Syrian Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs Abdullah al-Dardari at the Great Hall of the People. The two discussed how to boost bilateral economic and trade cooperation and exchanged views on the situation in the Middle East region.
