Premier Wen Jiabao Sends a Message of Condolences to Turkish Prime Minister on the Bombings in Turkey

On November 16th, 2003, Premier Wen Jiabao sent a message to Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan on the bombing in Turkey. He said that two bombing accidents happened in Istanbul on 15th, and caused a large number of casualties among innocent people. The Chinese government is shocked at this and condemns the violence. Wen noted that he would like to, on the part of the Chinese government, and also in his own name, to express sincere condolences to Erdogan, and through Erdogan, to the victims and their relatives. He said that China is against terrorism of any form, and is willing to make efforts with the international community to safeguard world peace and stability.
