On May 12, 2008, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi met with visiting Deputy Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, who is here in China for the consultations on the Middle East.

Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties and international and regional issues of common concern.
