On April 25, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Zhai Jun met with Ibrahim Ghandour, a senior official in charge of the external relations of Sudan's ruling National Congress Party (NCP), who is visiting China at the invitation of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties as well as the issue of Sudan and South Sudan.
