Hu Jintao Accepts Credentials from Eight New Ambassadors

On July 30, 2010, Chinese President Hu Jintao accepted credentials presented respectively by new ambassadors to China from Indonesia, Micronesia, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Portugal, Laos and Iran at the Great Hall of the People.

The eight new ambassadors are Imron Cotan from Indonesia, Akillino Harris Susaia from Micronesia, who is the first residential ambassador of the Pacific island country to China, Choi Byong Kwan from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Piamsak Milintachinda from Thailand, Datuk Iskandar Bin Sarudin from Malaysia, Jose Soares from Portugal, Somdy Bounkhoum from Laos and Mehdi Safari from Iran.
