On August 27, 2007, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui met with a delegation headed by Democratic Representative from Missouri Ike Skelton, who is also chairman of the Armed Services Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives. Both sides exchanged views on Sino-U.S. ties, bilateral trade cooperation and international and regional issues of common concern.
