On October 9, 2007, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui met in the office building of the Foreign Ministry with former German Chancellor Kohl's foreign-affairs advisor Horst Teltschik, who is also Chairman of Munich Conference on Security Policy. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral ties and other issues of common concern.
