Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun Gives a Dinner in Honor of Equatorial Guinea's Foreign Minister

On December 20, 2007, Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Zhai Jun gave a dinner in honor of visiting Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophone Affairs of Equatorial Guinea Pastor Micha Ondo Bile in the Chinese Foreign Ministry. Zhai said China and Equatorial Guinea share a profound traditional friendship and bilateral ties have shown a sound momentum for development in recent years with increasing political trust, fruitful economic and trade cooperation and closer coordination in international affairs. China is grateful for Equatorial Guinea's adherence to the one-China policy and hopes that both sides will make joint efforts to upgrade bilateral friendly cooperation in all areas to a new level. Agreeing with Zhai's comments on bilateral ties, Pastor Micha Ondo Bile thanked for China's long-standing sincere help to Equatorial Guinea. He said the China-Equatorial Guinea relationship has entered its best period of development and the two countries have made positive progress in cooperation of all areas. He expressed hope that more Chinese companies will invest and start business in Equatorial Guinea and participate in economic construction there.
