On April 25, 2008, Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met with EU Commissioner on external relations Benita Ferrero-Waldner, and Commissioner on development and humanitarian aid Louis Michel in Zhongnanhai. Both sides exchanged views on current EU-China relations and issues of common concern in a candid and in-depth manner. The EU guests reiterated adherence to the one-China policy and the respect of China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
