On July 1, 2008, Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Yesui met in the Foreign Ministry with Erik Solheim, Norwegian Minister of the Environment and International Development. Both sides made positive comments on the development of bilateral ties and exchanged views on issues concerning climate change, Sudan, Myanmar and Sri Lanka.
