On February 9, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Cui Tiankai held a briefing for Chinese and foreign media on Vice President Xi Jinping's visit to the US. Cui mainly introduced the background, significance and purpose of the visit and answered questions on China-US relations as well as regional and international issues.
