On February 28, 2012, Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi held talks with his visiting Colombian counterpart Maria Angela Holguin. Both sides made positive comments on the development of China-Colombia ties, pledging to maintain high-level visits, further enhance political mutual trust and continue to deepen cooperation in various fields to push for in-depth development of bilateral relations. The two sides also exchanged views on international and regional issues of common concern.
