On April 1, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping met with Director of Russian Federal Drug Control Service Viktor Ivanov who was in China attending the third meeting of anti-drug officials of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). The two sides exchanged views on strengthening China-Russia anti-drug cooperation in Afghanistan within the bilateral framework and the framework of the SCO.
