Q: It is reported that Nakajima Mineo, a right-wing Japanese scholar, recently announced that he would invite Li Denghui to visit Japan and attend his "Asia Future Forum". What is your comment?


A: We express our strong concern over the activities of a handful of anti-China forces in Japan that continue their efforts in planning to invite Li Denghui to visit Japan. It is widely known that Li Denghui is the very one that represents Taiwan's independence forces. The Chinese side is strongly opposed to the visit by Li Denghui to Japan in any form or in any name. We hope that the Japanese Government will abide by its statement and commitment made on the question of Taiwan, attach great importance to it and hand it properly.
