The website fully introduces the history and current status of Chinese diplomacy, the responsibilities and functions of the Foreign Ministry, as well as the ministry's major officials and organizational structure.

The Foreign Ministry website releases up-to-the-minute diplomatic news updates and compiles special topic reports on major diplomatic events. It also exclusively publishes itineraries for major diplomatic trips.
