On the afternoon of June 14, International Press Center of the Information Department of the Foreign Ministry arranged a visit to China Central Television (CCTV) and the Central Television Tower for foreign correspondents resident in Beijing and press officers of foreign embassies in China. About 40 journalists from more than 20 media agencies such as Reuters, Wall Street Journal and Asahi and some press officers joined the visit.

The visitors were shown around the master control room and news broadcasting room. They also watched with great interest the live shooting of the children program Childhood .

Mr. Luo Ming, Vice President of CCTV, briefed the visitors on CCTV and answered their questions.

The visitors also had interesting talks with well-known anchormen Shui Junyi, Yang Rui and Jing Yidan.
