On June 11, 2008, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jieyi met with the US delegation of renowned experts on Chinese issues led by David Shambaugh, director of the China Policy Program at George Washington University. Both sides exchanged opinions on China-US relations and other issues of common interest.
