Curriculum Vitae of Mr. Wen Chi

Mr. Wen Chi, native of Yingkou, Liaoning Province, was born on 28 January 1928, former Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of the People's Republic of China (May 1988-June 1994). He joined the revolutionary cause in March 1948 and was engaged in Communist Youth League (CYL) affairs for a long time. He served successively as Section Chief and Deputy Director General of CYL Central Committee (he also attended the World Federation of Democratic Youth conferences held in Beijing in 1954 and in Czech in 1959 and the Asia-Pacific Peace Conference in Osaka in 1962).
