On September 13, 2004, Vice Foreign Minister Zhou Wenzhong met with a delegation composed of U.S. journalists, whose visit is under the auspices of Better Hong Kong Foundation.

Zhou welcomed the visit of the journalists to China, briefed them on the current developments of China-U.S. relations and took their questions on the nuclear issue on the Korean Peninsula, the Six-Party talks, counter-terrorism and the Taiwan issue.

The delegation was jointly organized by Better Hong Kong Foundation and U.S. East-West Center, headed by Executive President Mr. Yuan Jinhao of the foundation and composed of 6 senior editors and correspondents from CNN, The Christian Science Monitor, Washington Post and Business Week.
