On March 16, 2005, Asma Khader, Government Spokesperson and Minister of Culture of Jordan met with Ambassador Luo Xingwu of China to Jordan, expressing their understanding on the adoption of Anti-Secession Law by the National People's Congress of China and their support to the determination of the Chinese people to safeguard the national sovereignty and territorial integrity. Khader said that any sovereign country will not allow any separatist act. Jordan supports the one-China principle as well as the lofty cause of China's peaceful reunification. China has successfully resolved the returning of Hong Kong and Macao in a peaceful manner. Taiwan is part of China and should return to the embrace of China at the earliest date possible.
