Uribe hoped that the two sides will make joint efforts to implement the important consensus reached between him and President Hu on reciprocal cooperation during his visit to Beijing in April this year. Colombia is willing to take concrete measures to promote bilateral cooperation in the economic and trade areas. There is great potential for bilateral cooperation in energy, textiles and household electrical appliances and to strengthen bilateral cooperation in these areas will bring benefits to both sides.
